Undergraduate

The Faculty of Civil Engineering for Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia was established in 1967. It started by providing courses in Civil Engineering at the Diploma level for Institiut Teknologi MARA. Students who have completed the Diploma were given options to continue their studies to obtain a Higher National Diploma.

When ITM is granted a full university status, all diplomas issued by ITM have been upgraded to an undergraduate degree. The faculty starts offering undergraduate and post-graduate courses in (year).

Programme Accreditation
For the award of a Degree, a student must have successfully complete the curriculum and obtained a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00

Career Opportunities
The Faculty of Civil Engineering has been awarded accreditation by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Malaysia. This is an indication of quality assurance and institutional excellence. The student can be confident that the university has met international criteria for qualified engineers. Upon graduation, it is prudent for an engineering graduate to register as a graduate engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia prior to employment as an engineer.

Admission Requirements
A pass in SPM or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government with a credit in Bahasa Melayu / Malaysia and English and pass in STPM with passes in two (2) other subjects and achieving grade B- (CGPA 2.67) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry ;
Or
A pass in Diploma in Civil Engineering, UiTM or from other institutions with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 ;
Or
A pass in Diploma in Civil Engineering, UiTM or from other institutions recognized by Malaysian Government with a minimum two years working experience in related areas ;
Or
Pass in Bachelor in Physical Sciences or IEM/BEM/EC (UK) Part 1 ;
Or
Pass in Matriculation Programme from Ministry of Education, Malaysia with a CGPA of 2.50 and pass in MUET
BBachelor of Civil Engineering Technology (Railway Infrastructure) with Honours (CEEC240)
