Synopsis
The School of Mechanical Engineering doctoral programme was first introduced in June 1999. It is intended for graduates with an appropriate master's degree who wish to pursue research towards the award of a PhD. Academics and experts usually lead research supervision for the PhD students in their respective fields of specialisation.
Entry Requirement
- Candidates with a Master's degree in engineering or in one of the physical sciences from a recognised university or other higher learning institutions recognised by the UiTM Senate.
- Candidates interested in applying for admission must also submit a research proposal in the intended area of study.
- Candidates have to attend an interview, which will determine their suitability in the proposed area of research.
