BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST, UK)

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)

The Little Things ABOUT HIM

He has been working at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM Shah Alam) in Malaysia since January 2007 and has more than ten years of experience in vibration studies. His research interests are related to the Dynamics and Vibration application.  Much of his research focuses on this area, particularly in the application of the Operational Modal Analysis to a vibrating system. Currently, he collaborates with local companies in Malaysia and is actively involved in industrial consultation projects related to vibration issues and activities both in experimental and analytical works. His leading role as Associate Consultant and Technical Specialist to solve industry-related problems in his area of expertise included rotating machinery and process pipework systems at the power plant as well as onshore and offshore, petrochemical and oil and gas plants in Malaysia. Methods include, but are not limited to the following approach: Operational Modal Analysis (OMA), Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA), Operational Deflection Shape (ODS), Vibration Data Acquisition and Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Stress Analysis.
