The Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours is a 4-Year Degree programme in Electrical Engineering with a specific focus on Power Engineering. The programme exposes to the students the generation, transmission and utilization of electrical power. It also offers a comprehensive view into the basic principles and applications in the field of electrical engineering. It covers a range of subjects including Power Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Electric Drives, High Voltage,Economic Planning and Renewable Energy.

Programme Outcomes (PO)
After the completion of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours programme, students are expected to know and be able to perform or attain the following:
- PO1: Apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to the solution of complex electrical engineering problems
- PO2: Identify, formulate, research literature and analyse complex electrical engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions.
- PO3: Ability to design solutions for complex electrical engineering problems with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, culture, society, and environment.
