UMPSA Benchmarking Visit

In a collaborative effort to enhance academic collaboration and foster discussions on program quality, lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) embarked on a visitation program. The delegation visited the Electrical Engineering Department at UiTM Shah Alam on November 16, 2023.

The primary focus of the program was to receive markers for the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours program. Various key topics were discussed during the visit, including the curriculum, credit load, and student learning time (SLT) of the program. Additionally, attention was given to the implementation of Teaching and Learning (PdP), Industrial Training (LI), Industrial Design Project (IDP), and Bachelor Project.

The discussions also delved into the moderation process for exam questions and final examinations, ensuring a robust and fair assessment system. Furthermore, the implementation of teaching and learning methods, along with facilities supporting the process, was a crucial aspect explored during the visitation.

The program witnessed active participation from both sides, with the delegation consisting of nine (9) guests from UMPSA and twenty (20) staff members from UiTM Shah Alam's Electrical Engineering Department. The collaborative exchange of ideas and insights is expected to contribute positively to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of electrical engineering education between the two institutions.
