A program organized by Cisco - UiTM IoT Centre, College of Engineering, UiTM, took place on June 19, 2023, at the CyberSAFE Live Gallery, CyberSecurity Malaysia, Cyber Axis Tower, Cyberjaya. The program aimed to enhance students' knowledge and interest in the field of cybersecurity.

The CyberSAFE Live Gallery showcases information and exhibition materials to enhance community knowledge and awareness of cybersecurity through a strong understanding of Human, Process, and Technology. Additionally, the gallery actively promotes products and services the CyberSecurity Malaysia infrastructure offers.

The program was attended by 37 Computer Engineering students from the Electrical Engineering School, comprising semester 6, 7, and 8, who were currently or had completed the Data Network I (ECE541) and Data Network II (ECE641) courses under the Cisco Network Academy module. They were accompanied by eight accompanying lecturers.

Upon arrival at the CyberSAFE Live Gallery, the students were immersed in a world of cybersecurity knowledge and innovation. The gallery showcased cutting-edge technologies, interactive displays, and informative exhibits that shed light on the importance of cybersecurity in today's digital landscape. From understanding human behaviour in cyberspace to the role of technology and effective processes, the students gained valuable insights into the multifaceted nature of cybersecurity.

As part of the program, the students had the opportunity to interact with cybersecurity experts from CyberSecurity Malaysia. These experts shared their expertise and experiences, highlighting the latest cybersecurity trends, challenges, and preventive measures. The students actively engaged in discussions, asking questions and seeking clarification on various cybersecurity aspects, enriching their understanding of the field.

Another exciting aspect of the visit was the exhibition of CyberSecurity Malaysia's products and services. The students were introduced to state-of-the-art security solutions and technologies designed to safeguard individuals, organizations, and the nation against cyber threats. They had the opportunity to witness live demonstrations and explore the practical applications of cybersecurity tools, gaining valuable insights into the role of technology in defending against cyberattacks.

The program at the CyberSAFE Live Gallery played a vital role in nurturing the students' interest in cybersecurity.
