A benchmark visit has been conducted for the Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology with Honours (CEEE260) program, Electrical Engineering Studies (PKE) to Universiti Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute (UniKL BMI), Batu 8 Jalan Sungai Pusu, 53100 Gombak, Selangor. This visit involved 11 representatives from PKE, including the Head of Studies, Field Coordinators, Program Coordinator, Course Coordinator/Resource person (RP), and the PKE Accreditation Committee representative.
This benchmark visit aims to gather information and improve the implementation of the CEEE260 program. It serves as a reference for course coordinators and RPs to enhance the content and course implementation for this program. It is also a requirement outlined in the ETAC Standard Manual 2020.
Through this visit, PKE was able to identify several aspects, including the TnL delivery system and practical approaches by BMI in managing their BEngTech program, industrial training management, FYP project management, as well as laboratory equipment and facilities
