Centre for Electronics Engineering Studies (CEES)


The Center of Electronic Engineering Studies (CEES) is one of the five centers established at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The centre offers academic programs with a specialization in electronics engineering.


Research Activities

In Shah Alam main campus, CEES offers a wide range of research in Electronics and Microelectronics fields. The main research fields in our departments are;

  • Material Fabrications



There are several laboratories in CEES for practical sessions which are divided into two main uses, Teaching and Learning (T&L) and Research Activities.

NANO-ElecTronic Centre Lab

Research activities of NANO-ElecTronic Centre (NET) are aimed at developing nanomaterials, nanodevices, nanofabrications, nanoprocess, and nanocharacterizations. Currently, there are more than 50 researchers and students (final year project (FYP), MSc, and PhD) are doing their nanoelectronics related research at NET. With an aim to carry out focussed works in various nanoelectronic areas, the research and development activities of NET have been categorised in various research areas, which are listed below:
