Perfect Score Program 2024
The School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, in collaboration with SM Sains Kuala Selangor, recently organised the "Perfect Score" program aimed to prepare Form 5 students for the upcoming Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination in December 2024.
The program, divided into two series, offered students an immersive learning experience in a university environment. The first series ran from August 22 to 24, followed by the second from August 27 to 29, both hosted at the College of Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam. 144 students participated in the program, with 64 attending the first series and 80 attending the second.
The Perfect Score program provided students with a unique opportunity to explore potential career paths and gain practical insights into the field of engineering. Career talks by the Academic Mission Committee guide and inspire students about potential career opportunities after completing SPM. Meanwhile, laboratory visits across various engineering disciplines exposed students to hands-on experience and insights into engineering fields.
Dr. Noor Azreena Kamaluddin, Coordinator of the GeoTrEn Division, School of Civil Engineering, officially inaugurated the program during the opening ceremony. The program concluded with a closing ceremony officiated by Ir. Dr. Mohd Ridzuan Mohd Ali, a senior lecturer at the STRUCM Division, School of Civil Engineering.
The 'Perfect Score' program was successful, providing students with valuable academic guidance and a glimpse into university life. The collaboration between the School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam, and SM Sains Kuala Selangor has significantly better-prepared students academically and professionally for their future, marking a significant step in their educational journey.
