Gear Up Your Engineering Knowledge

On May 21, 2024, five groups from the School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam, organized a program titled "Gear Up Your Engineering Knowledge” at Sekolah Tinta, Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The program was held in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (UiTM Shah Alam Student Section) and supervised by 𝐈𝐫. 𝐓𝐬. 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐝𝐚. This initiative was part of the Service-Learning Malaysia (SULAM) program embedded in the Engineers in Society (EiS) subject.

The event featured five activities:

1. EcoCross: Environmental Engineering Crosswords
2. BrainTech Quiz: Engineering Edition
3. Engineering Clean Water for a Sustainable Future
4. Stand Tall and Strong: Tower Building Competition
5. Building Bridges, Building Future: Bridge Model Competition

These activities were designed to introduce students to the principles of infrastructure design, water filtration systems, and environmental engineering. The goal was to foster a deep understanding of civil engineering while nurturing the next generation of civil engineers. The program enhanced the students' technical skills and inspired them to pursue innovative and sustainable engineering solutions in their future careers.
