Academy–Industry Relationships and Partnerships are beneficial to all, from the staff and students to the world as a whole. Accordingly, a joint meeting between Faculty of Civil Engineering, UiTM and Malaysian Green Technology Corporation was held on 16 January 2019 at Malaysian Green Technology Corporation Office, Bangi. Malaysian Green Technology Corporation also known as GreenTech Malaysia is an organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change.

This meeting provided an opportunity to share experiences and identify potential future areas for joint work which specifically around the issues of sustainable. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UiTM Prof. Dr. Zakiah Ahmad, Prof. Dr. Hjh. Hamidah Mohd Saman, Deputy Dean (Research, Industrial Linkages and Alumni) and Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing Masria Mustafa (ICAEN Coordinator). Two representatives from GreenTech Malaysia were Mrs Elina Jani, Head of Division - Strategic Communications and Mrs Freida Razali, Senior Manager, Strategic Communications
