On 25th September 2019, a knowledge sharing session was conducted for students taking advanced foundation engineering course i.e. ECG715 and PhD research students. The purpose of the talk was to share information on the design and analysis of shallow foundations with regards to current industry application. The speaker is Engr Ir Amir Hamzah bin Mustapha which is currently working as a Managing Director at LR Two Consult Sdn Bhd. His talk includes design elements and discussion on problems that occurred in deep foundation construction projects. The talk was helpful in engaging students in learning more about the subject matter.
