A two-day workshop dated 16-17 May 2019 was conducted at Politeknik Shah Alam, Selangor to guide and facilitate lecturers to understand the application of well-defined problems (DP) & engineering activities (NA) together with knowledge profile (DK) for technician program based on the 2019 Engineering Technology Council (ETAC) Standards. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Che Maznah Mat Isa, a Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam, who is also the Associate Director for ETAC (Technician Programme), Board of Engineers Malaysia was invited as the speaker and facilitator to conduct the workshop. The objectives of the workshop are (1) to improve understanding of participants on the graduate attributes under Dublin Accord (DA), elements of well-defined problems (DP) & engineering activities (NA) together with knowledge profile (DK) for technician programme offered by PSA. and (2) to design performance criteria matrix (rubrics) for various courses based on syllabus and curriculum. 40 lecturers have successfully participated in the workshop.
