ITEX 2019 presents an exciting opportunity for inventions to be showcased to potential business and investor both locally and internationally. All participating inventions will be awarded with gold, silver or bronze ITEX medals.
Out of the 18 awards announced 8 won by researchers from the Faculty of Civil Engineering UiTM Shah Alam.
GOLD Medal
• Prof Dr Zakiah Ahmad (EC/IIESM) -KENAF CORE FINE AGGREGATE (KECOFA).
•PM Ir Dr Che Maznah Mat Isa (EC) - myIP System Using Bloom's Tax to Enhance 21st Century Skills towards Industrial Revolution 4.0.
• Dr. Ekarizan Binti Shaffie (IIESM) -SMART PAVE: Durable, Strong and Long Lasting Pavement using Nanohybrid Binder.
SILVER Medal
• Dr. Marfiah Binti Ab.Wahid – (EC) - V/TiO2 hybrid treatment for pathogen and micro-pollutant in wastewater.
•Dr Nurul Fariha Lokman (EC) - Envo-SPR: Portable optical fibre sensors enhanced with CS-GO nanocomposite for detection of heavy metals in water.
• Dr Norhafezah Kasmuri (EC) - Electrowatt-ion-Electrocoagulation in Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME).
• Azianabiha A. Halip@Khalid (EC) - MoBloom: Microalgae-based bio-fertilizer.
• Dr. Muhd Norhasri Bin Muhd Sidek (IIESM) - SUPER PMAX: A New Generation for Repair Purposes.
