MASTER’S IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING        

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering began offering the postgraduate program in December 2002. The faculty is in the direction of producing chemical engineering graduates who can meet the demand of industries and contribute towards global technological advancement. The Master's program in Chemical Engineering is fully research-based where the award of M.Sc. degree is through the completion of a research project carried out under qualified supervisor.

MODE AND DURATION

MASTER’S ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Bachelor of Engineering degree from Faculty of Chemical Engineering UiTM or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from any institution of higher learning recognized by the UiTM Senate: Minimum CGPA of 2.75

Bachelor of Science / Engineering / Technology degree from any institution of higher learning recognized by the UiTM Senate: Minimum CGPA of 3.00

Bachelor of Science / Engineering / Technology degree from any institution of higher learning recognized by the UiTM Senate, with working experience in relevant areas: Minimum CGPA of 2.75

PhD IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING                 

The postgraduate program in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering started in December 2002. The faculty is in the direction of producing chemical engineering graduates who can meet the demand of industries and contribute towards global technological advancement. The Doctoral program is fully research-based and designed to provide doctoral-level training, with the ultimate objective of awarding a PhD degree to the successful candidate through advance, independent and original research carried out under the guidance of a qualified supervisor. Undergraduates with excellent grades will have the opportunity to pursue their PhD studies straight away, through a conversion process from M.Sc. to PhD or also known as PhD Fast-Track.

MODE AND DURATION

PhD ENTRY REQUIREMENT

A M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalent and recognized by the UiTM Senate.

A M.Sc. degree in Science or other relevant qualifications recognized by the UiTM Senate, subject to deliberation and approval from relevant Faculty committee.
